I wish I'd have chance to watch the TV show Young People’s Concerts titled "What Does Music Mean", by Leonard Bernstein live.
In that show Bernstein elucidated his audience that meaning of the music is just a story or a picture which faking up by people. However, in every story that be created for a music, storyteller should be loyal to the general idea or dominant feeling of the music.
It is similar in studio. An object is an object. A construct is a construct. The meaning of the construct isn't the main point there. That is why abstraction is essential. A triangle will be on that construct in space, regardless of purpose. It was not easy to understand abstraction in architecture before watching this show.
